When children are growing up, it is important to ensure that they eat healthy foods as these foods will aid in their development and later life. We can’t always be there to supervise their eating, and neither can we trust nannies to do it for us all the time. This makes it very important to make the kids know the importance of eating healthy foods and to appreciate those foods. Help them eat real food

Fresh food is always the best, and children should eat it in its natural state so that they can get all the goodness out of the food. Help them grow something

It is good to encourage them to grow plants that are edible. The excitement of watching the plants grow from seeds will make them appreciate eating the products.

Take your kids grocery shopping

When going shopping, let the kids tag along with you for the grocery shopping. This will let them know where the food actually comes from, instead of thinking that it just appears on their plates from nowhere. Let them know when and why certain foods are in season, and even let them choose some of the foods for you.

Let them help with the cooking

Kids are more likely to enjoy a meal that they helped to cook, and this is also a good way to spend time together. It also gives them skills that they will use in later life.

Let them take the time to taste and savor
